Power Link Utilities (PLU) was founded in Michigan in 2025 to meet the growing demand for qualified, unionized utility line contractors and support the continued expansion of critical utility infrastructure.
From the beginning, PLU was built around experienced industry leadership, strong union relationships, operational expertise, and a commitment to safety and compliance. Our leadership team brings together decades of experience across utility line work, field operations, safety, workforce management, and business development.
Working with industry partners and IBEW Local 17, PLU has rapidly expanded its operations while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, and dependable field execution.
Today, Power Link Utilities operates seven active crews with more than 30 employees, providing utility construction services throughout Michigan. Our goal is simple: build a reliable workforce, perform quality work, and develop lasting partnerships within the utility and infrastructure industry.
As we continue to grow, PLU remains focused on safety, professionalism, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
