Pre-Job Safety Briefings
Updated: Sep 23
At Power Link Utilities, every job begins with a clear understanding of the work, the work environment, and the potential hazards involved. Our crews conduct daily pre-job briefings led by the Foreman before work begins.
The pre-job briefing covers the entire scope of work planned for the crew. Employees review the job assignment, work conditions, equipment, hazards, and safety procedures before work begins.
A re-brief is conducted after the midday break, and a documented re-brief is completed whenever conditions change. This includes changes to the job, crew members, equipment, work procedures, or other circumstances that could affect the safety of the work.
Our pre-job briefing process helps ensure that every member of the crew understands their responsibilities and the conditions they may encounter before work begins.
