At Power Link Utilities, we believe identifying a potential hazard before an incident occurs is an important part of a strong safety culture.

A "Good Catch" is a potential hazard or incident that could have resulted in personal injury or property damage but did not. Examples can include unsafe conditions, improper use of equipment, faulty equipment, or procedures that are not being followed correctly.

Every PLU employee has a responsibility to identify and report potential hazards and take appropriate action to correct them immediately.

Good Catch reports are documented and reviewed during our daily safety meetings. Sharing these observations helps our crews learn from potential hazards and strengthens communication about safety across the organization.

Our Good Catch program is designed to encourage employees to speak up when they see something that could create a safety risk.
